Hints for a Moving Billboard Advertisement

Source:JHheater Release date:2021-04-20 Views:778 Share it to:
Consumers are no longer looking at billboards in the same way they did 20 or 30 years ago. While moving billboards may still be considered premium advertising space, many consumers are more tuned into their smartphones, radios, and other driving distractions. Drivers' eyes are often distracted or down at a stop, making it hard to grab their attention.

However, that doesn't mean moving billboard advertising should be discounted or ignored. Moving billboards are everywhere, and even though we may remember just a handful, they can still have a powerful branding impact.

This means that outdoor advertising is getting increasingly competitive, even in the digital age. So it’s important to know how to make your advertising count.

Avoid Direct Response

There are some truly awful moving billboards covered in phone numbers and website addresses. A moving billboard is a secondary advertising medium, which means that it’s ideal for brand-building and supporting a campaign, but it cannot do the heavy lifting.

If you want a more intimate conversation with your target audience, use print advertising, television, radio, flyers, websites, and direct mail. Moving billboards are the wrong medium for anything other than a quick message. However, if your website or phone number is the headline, and makes sense, then you might have an exception to the rule.
